Debbie Tyson

Director of Academics & Admissions

Debbie's love for flying began at an early age when she would accompany her father, a Delta employee, to work. As years went by, Debbie dabbled in aviation but did not pursue it actively. When her fourteen-year-old son took his first discovery flight at Falcon Field, Debbie's love for flying was rekindled. She began attending ground school with her son and before long, mastered the topics. Debbie became absorbed in her newfound passion, obtained her Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI) certificate, and ultimately organized and tailored an entire curriculum! Today she serves as FLYT Aviation's Ground School instructor.
